Great Success for Beniamino Iozzelli’s Concert in Prato, Italy: A Gallery of Photographic Memories.
We joyfully share the first shots of yesterday's success in Prato. The pianist Beniamino Iozzelli, in his splendid first collaboration with ICAMus, enchanted the audience with his inspired performance of Chopin, Skrjabin and Crumb, where American music entered into dialogue with the great international piano repertoire. Thanks to the Scuola di Musica G. Verdi/Camerata Strumentale di Prato for this opportunity to collaborate with the chamber series L’Ora del Concerto.
For the first ICAMus collaboration with pianist Beniamino Iozzelli, on October 26, 2024, Sala Zipoli, Palazzo della Musica, a new concert program featured works by Fryderyk Chopin, Aleksandr Skrjabin and George Crumb (1929-2022; selection from Makrokosmos, Vol. I: Twelve Fantasy-Pieces after the Zodiac, for amplified piano; 1972).
