An evening of poetry and music at the historic Dischi Fenice record store in Florence, Italy. The CD Emergence (Stone Records) features musical settings of Emily Dickinson’s poetry and prose texts by Aaron Copland, Luigi Zaninelli, Juliana Hall, Sylvia Glickman, and Ella Jarman-Pinto. With Aloma Bardi, Emergence Music (soprano Nadine Benjamin, pianist Nicole Panizza) and a group of women poets & artists as special guests. An ICAMus program in collaboration with Dischi Fenice.
