Jerome N. Margolis (born in 1941) wrote That Their Memory Be Blessed in the aftermath of the Pittsburgh Synagogue mass shooting that took place on October 27, 2018.

In 2019, Dr. Margolis donated this unpublished and previously unperformed score to the ICAMus Special Collections, as part of a major donation of his music manuscripts, which initiated an international project for the performance of his works.
