A truly special day for ICAMus at the Aula Magna of the Liceo “Enea Silvio Piccolomini” in Siena! American Music Center Curator Aloma Bardi presented a lecture-workshop on "Centuries of American Musical Originality" to three full classes—a total of 70 students—at her own former school! It was an emotional and rewarding homecoming. The attentive students shared insightful comments and questions during the final discussion. Our thanks to the Liceo Piccolomini, to teachers Elena Bozzi and Katiuscia Manetta for the organization, and to the magnificent city of Siena on a glorious April day!
